I went with matte black. One matte black bathroom accessory set replaced the soap dispenser, toothbrush holder, and soap dish in one purchase for under 20 dollars. Where to Put Everything When There Is No Storage

The reason your counter is cluttered is not that you own too much. It is that there is literally nowhere else to put things. Small apartment bathrooms often have one tiny cabinet under the sink and nothing else. No linen closet. No shelves. No medicine cabinet. Just a counter that has to hold everything you own.

The answer is vertical. Walls have square footage that you are currently wasting.

I put two in the shower for shampoo and conditioner (bye bye shower floor bottles) and one above the toilet for backup supplies.

For the back of the bathroom door, a simple over the door organizer holds hair tools, cleaning supplies, or extra products. You never see it when the door is open, which means it is invisible storage that keeps the room looking clean.

If you have wall space above the toilet, an over toilet storage rack adds two or three shelves of display and function without taking any floor space. Style the top shelf with a candle and a small plant. Use the lower shelves for rolled towels or baskets with everyday items. It turns dead vertical space into the most useful corner of the room.
